Description: The valley of Tholung in North-Sikkim is located below the beautiful Mt. Siniolchu (6888m) and Mt. Lamo Anden (5200m) in an area especially reserved for the indigenous Lepchas. The virtually uninhabited valley of Tholung is very sacred both to Lepchas and Bhutias of Sikkim. Its miniscule population consists of less that 50 lamas, yak herdsmen and small-scale farmers.

Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival at Bagdogra/Bhadrapur Airport, Phuentsoling. Drive to gangtok. Transfer to hotel. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 02: Drive to Singhik in North Sikkim. Transfer to lodge. O/N at lodge.

Day 03: Witness the sunrise on the majestic Mt. Khanchendzonga early in the morning from your lodge. After breakfast start nature trek to Tsana. O/N at camp.

Day 04: Trek from Tsana to Tholung Monastery. O/N at camp or lodge.

Day 05: Explore around Tholung Valley. O/N at Camp.

Day 06: Trek back from Tholung to Lingsha and drive back to Singhik. O/N at lodge.

Day 07: Drive back to Bagdogra for onward journey.
